BMW C 400 X & BMW C 400 GT

These scooters are all about urban mobility. The mid-sized C 400 X is designed to be maneuverable in city environments but doesn’t lose any of the Motorrad identity. You’ll find exceptional wind and weather protection with plenty of integrated storage and a Flexcase under the seat.

For covering longer distances or touring, the C 400 GT maxi scooter is all the bike you’ll need. It delivers extra comfort yet is able to handle the urban demands of a working week.

Ergonomics feature generously in providing a comfortable riding experience, especially with the seat. Rider and passenger get backrests with feet rests courtesy of the footboards. Wind and weather protection are improved, as is a larger windshield, as compared to the C 400 X.

Power comes from a single-cylinder 350cc engine that makes 34hp and 35Nm of torque. A CVT with vibration decoupling is the transmission of choice and delivers the power via a torsional drivetrain swingarm.

Safety is plentiful with Automatic Stability Control (ASC) with twin disc brakes at the front and a single unit at the rear. ABS is standard. Both scooters sit on a telescopic fork at the front and two spring struts at the rear.

An optional item that should be a must have with all orders is Connectivity that functions through the instrument cluster in the form of a 6.5-inch colour TFT screen. Riders will be able to access connectivity and vehicle functions through the Motorrad Multi-Controller. Arrow-based navigation is made possible with the Motorrad Connected App.

Keyless Ride ensures that the steering lock, ignition, fuel-filler flap and anti-theft device are activated by a transponder in the key fob.

You can have your C 400 X in metallic Zenith Blue and Black Storm, as well as the non-metallic Alpine White while the C 400 GT comes in either non-metallic Alpine White and Moonwalk Grey or metallic Black Storm.

BMW F 750 GS

The F 750 GS is offers the impression and sensation of an enduro but with a low seat height for some sporty inclinations. It has the GS-typical top front mudguard as one of the key design elements to identify with the spirit of GS.

It is propelled by a re-engineered inline two-cylinder engine that possesses two counterbalance shafts to absorb vibrations. A displacement of 853cc serves up 77hp with a six-speed transmission featuring anti-hopping clutch and secondary drive on the left.

A completely new instrument cluster with Connectivity capabilities and a 6.5-inch colour TFT screen helps the rider navigate vehicle functions that include the riding modes of Road and Rain; the latter cushioning throttle response. Furthermore, the Automatic Stability Control (ASC) or Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Automatic Braking System (ABS) are configured for slippery surfaces.

You can order your F 750 GS in Austin Yellow Metallic, Style Exclusive Stereo Metallic Matt or Light White. We recommend the yellow.

BMW R 1250 RT

The RT line from Motorrad is the most recognisable and now packs an advanced boxer engine that churns out 136hp and 143Nm of torque from a displacement of 1,254cc. BMW ShiftCam Technology is integrated into the engine for the first time in a serial production Motorrad engine and allows for valve timing and stroke adjustment on the intake side.

Furthermore, the intake camshafts are designed for asynchronous opening of the two valves for a better swirl of the fuel-air mixture entering the combustion chamber. The previous roller chain has been upgraded to a toothed chain while a new exhaust system lets the engine exhale with more aural appeal.

Working to keep you on the bike at all times are Automatic Stability Control (ASC), ABS Pro and Hill Start Control. Riding modes comprise Dynamic, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Hill Start Control Pro and Dynamic Brake Assistant (DBC). Hill Start Control Pro is capable of activating the parking brake on an incline when the hand or foot brake is activated just as the bike comes to a standstill.

Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) is an electronic suspension works to deliver the best possible damping for comfort and stability.

Buyers can opt for individualisation packages when purchasing the R 1250 RT. The packages are Comfort, Touring, Dynamic and Lights that are pretty self-explanatory. Colour options for the bike are Mars Red, Carbon Black and Alpine White.
