All 106 McLaren Hyper-GT are booked, and they’ve just confirmed its existence

It’s not since the McLaren F1 road car that we’ve seen a three-seater from the good people at Woking

You’re looking at the Hyper-GT, the car with the same seat layout as the McLaren F1 road car that debuted what feels like a millennia ago. But unlike the F1, the Hyper-GT has plans to go even faster with speeds exceeding 391kph. To get there, McLaren will be employing the services of a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain. And that’s all the technical details we have so far.

The Hyper-GT, codenamed BP23 because the final name isn’t confirmed yet, will join the Senna in the McLaren Ultimate Series. There will only 106 cars made, already all have names on it. Production starts at the end of 2019 and every BP23 will be customised according to their owner’s taste; done by McLaren Special Operations.

Very bespoke, this. We wonder who the 106 are.
